You cannot afford to waste the gift of God in you; you will stand before God at the end of your life, and give a detailed account of what you did with His deposits in you.
Every second that passes brings you closer to your grave; the only thing that deserves your time and energy is God’s purpose for your life. You don’t have to be a slave to time, but there is a time limit to your life. Be conscious of it.
On a daily basis there are diverse people and things calling for our attention. Some may even be legitimate, but at the end of the day what really deserves our attention are things that are within the jurisdiction of God’s plans and purpose for our lives.
Redeeming simply means taking track of our time to ensure they are used wisely and purposefully. Highly successful and influential people around the world are men and women who make the most of the twenty-four hours of a day equally available to everyone.
Time is something that God gives to everyone in equal amounts. We have the same number of hours to make the most of our lives. A man is either a success or a failure depending on what they do with their time. Time is an equal currency for everyone.
Grief distracts. For about 5 years, I stayed in grief because I had legitimate reasons to. I was living but not impactful. I threw pity parties that I attended alone. People tied to my destiny were waiting for me so that they could rise too.
Please, don't be like me. Whatever comes to your mind to do, start doing it afraid and depressed. You will pull through. God is waiting for you to raise up your hands so that He can carry you.
Whatever does not contribute to God’s plans and purpose for your life is definitely taking you away from it.
Ephesians 5:16
Redeeming the time because the days are evil.
