You are loved.
So much. And unconditionally—by God.
Do you know that?
The truth of the unconditional love of THE ALL KNOWING AND ALL POWERFUL GOD doesn't come real to us when we are going through the loss of our loved one. I never wanted to hear this phrase when I lost my husband. It didn't make sense to me to be loved by Him, and He still allowed me to go through this when He has the power to prevent it.
Then I concluded that this "love of God' that I have believed for so long was never for me, but for some special people He has chosen to make happy and live a trouble free life.
After I 'eventually' gathered the courage to stay in the Word mainly by listening to messages, I started trusting in His unconditional love again. That has really helped in the assurance of His love, and He has proved it over and over again by holding my hands into perfect restoration.
Where to start is to mentally assent to the idea, and it will totally change everything.
How do you know when you believe God’s love for you?
You won’t fear anything anymore.
Not the loss of your loved one or loss of a job, how people will respond to you, how you’ll pay the bills, whether your family will be healthy or safe.
Is this possible? Yes!
God has not given you the spirit of fear. That means He doesn’t want you to have fear—ever. And if that’s His will for you, it is also possible.
So what stops people from believing?
- Because we know we will never see them again
- Hurts and wounds from the past that haven’t fully healed
- Guilt and shame associated with our loss and about our past
- Insecurities
- Low self-esteem
- A lack of knowledge of the Word of God.
God’s love is unconditional. His mercy covers everything on the above list. All you have to do now is believe and receive His love.
What a shame it is that people suffer in the hands of fear because they don’t believe the love God has for them. Learn to believe the love.
Think about it. God is in love with you—so in love, He’s given you everything He has! He’s given you all the healing, all the wisdom, all the wealth, all the strength you could ever need. But our hurts and unanswered questions blind us.
Believe the love God has for you. It’s already been released in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus and in the Word.
Say to yourself, again and again, all day;
“I believe the love Jesus has for me.”
Once it gets down into your heart, you’ll never fear again. The reality of the love of God is in love’s protection every moment of every day.
When we get out of love because of our 'feelings' and stay there, we remove our defense. We lower our barrier of protection and become vulnerable to the enemy’s assaults.
Don’t let that happen to you. Don’t allow disagreement or someone’s mistreatment of you or opinion of you draw you out of love and into strife. Keep yourself in the love of God, and stay out of danger. Keep love’s impenetrable barrier in place over your life.
“1 John 5:18 (NKJV)
Know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”
