When one is struck with grief, one feels incompetent, irresponsible and shameful.
That was my own situation. Later, I realized that I am not supposed to be responsible for anyone. I started studying with the help of the Holy Spirit.
This is the word of the Lord to you today. “Stop depending on yourself, there is nothing you can accomplish by yourself”.
The complexities of life are beyond what you can handle on your own. There is someone who knows all about life. He has every detail in the mind of God. That is the Spirit of God.
The life of Samson was a mystery; nobody knew the source of his strength. His strength was not just in the dreadlocks on his head but rather in the Spirit of God. The hair on his head was a symbol of the anointing of the Holy Spirit in his life.
One of the wrong impressions we had growing up was that Samson was a giant, with bulging muscles. There is no place in the Bible that said so. The great things he did were done because the Spirit of God came on him (Judges 14:6, 19; 15:14). After the Spirit of God left him he became like ordinary men. (Judges 16:17)
I caught that Rhema, and I made it part of my daily prayers to ask for His power.
When the Spirit of God is allowed to have his way in our lives we become extraordinary men. The limitations of life are broken and we do things with results to show for it. When the Spirit of God takes over; your wilderness becomes a fruitful field and the fruitful field becomes a forest. No matter what level of life you are, the Spirit of God will take you beyond that level.
I see the Spirit of God doing a major work in your life beyond what eyes has ever seen nor ear heard before.
We must yield all to him in complete surrender. Create the right atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to function in your life.
Zech. 4:6
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, this is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of host.
Isaiah 32:15 NLT
Until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops.
