Before the unforeseen storm of grief struck you, life was different. It was more fun; you were happier and life was more promising.
But the loss of our loved one turned the hands of time 180 degrees, and it is a different ball game entirely. We found ourselves on the other side of life, in excruciating pains of loss and grief, highly unbearable.
Do you know that the storm of grief could be a kind of progress towards His enjoyable plan He has for us? If we have Jesus inside our boats, He will take charge and calm the storm in our favor.
To Him, our encounter, and experience of grief, could be according to His purpose is to take us towards His planned gains for us.
His disciples were afraid when the storm came in the night, immediately they called the attention of the sleeping Jesus, and He stepped in.
In the book of Mark 4:39, it says:
When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, why are you afraid, do you have faith?
There is bound to be calmness (great gain, peace, joy, happiness, and restoration) after the storm. All that is required of us is faith in Christ, even when it doesn't make any sense. He will restore all our losses in His own way, and give us joy that people around you that have laughed at you will begin to wonder how you have come to this level of restoration.
Is he presently in the boat of your life? Please don't shut Him off because of your pains and disappointment, He has the remedy and the ability to carry you across to the other side.
