Faith is what carries you through. It is vital. But the problem is, during an intense loss or trauma or crisis sometimes you wonder, 'Where is my faith? Where is my hope?' And that's when you need somebody else to walk alongside you and say, You will get God sent people who will lend you their faith and their encouragement will give you hope until you are able to get yourself back again.
These are difficult seats to occupy when grieving, but the truth is that they are a strong requirement to get you through, no shortcuts.
A strong friend will be so helpful on your grief journey. This friend will be available to listen, listen, and uphold you in prayers. He or she will spur you on to a deeper relationship with Christ, and emotional stability.
Your friend, in turn, will grow and be blessed by God who greatly rewards those who follow His commands.
Romans 1:11-12
"I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong---that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith".
