Grief is a very vulnerable state. The mind is in such pain that the only way most people let out is by talking, especially women. Most men internalize their pains by keeping quiet.
Be careful of the information you let out when you are grieving. You don't give information that people don't need to them, especially things that wouldn't have gone out of your family if your loved one were to be alive. It could be finance, a misunderstanding or unresolved conflicts, investments, etc.
Unconsciously, people around can easily take advantage of information at this time and use it against you. The best and the best of us are human beings. We process the information differently. People around you do not feel your pain, and they are not as compassionate as you think.
Major decisions on finance, investments, relocation, etc. are not to be rushed into. Seek the help of experts in specific fields that require an immediate decision taking. People around may offer genuine advice on what they think is best for you at this time. I humbly advise you to take your time, don't feel rushed.
Seek the face of God, and wait on Him through prayers, He will guide you.
River Jordan that Neman, the leper washed in, that made him whole has been in existence before Neman was born. He would have seen that river countless times, but he never knew his healing was inside the river, until the man of God instructed him. Solutions and provisions are made ready for you.
God has prepared ways out of this situation before now, it is better you seek His face for ways forward. Take Godly counsel, but confirm in the place of prayers before you go ahead.
I had so many things going on in my life and in my head at the same time when my husband died. Well-meaning people with good intentions and genuine concerns came up with tangible suggestions about where I should send my children, which country I should run to, the people I should contact for help, etc. the confusion was too much for me that I decided to settle at His feet. Praying and waiting on Him, listening through my devotionals and preached messages. God brought me through in the most unexpected, unusual and outstanding ways that nobody ever advised or I ever thought of. The divine victory and uncommon direction God rolled out is still being talked about today, over 16 years after.
Everyone around me can now testify to God's divine provision and direction.
