Grief affects everything you do. It can disrupt every aspect of your life in ways you might not expect.
You may not have time to or even have coherent thoughts about anything because you are not psychologically stable. Most times, i would do stupid things like miss important deadlines, forget my children's school activities and even be absent minded at work during meetings. I made some unrealistic professional mistakes that made me look incompetent. A friend of mine lost her job for same reasons. Some people tagged me as a 'snub' because they believed I don't greet people I see on my way. The truth was that I was consumed in my confusing thoughts that I wasn't really seeing people around me. Just physically present.
I did a lot of dumb things that presented me wrongly to people around me.
When life seems chaotic and your world has lost its predictable order, remember that God does not change. Like me, you may find yourself driving down the wrong road, but God is with you, and He is able to get you to your destination.
Psalm 18:30 MSG
"What a God! His road stretches straight and smooth. Every GOD-direction is road-tested. Everyone who runs toward him makes it".
