God never lies.
So, if He said they would recover, then that means healing always comes. It's not God who's holding back from us. It's the receivers who aren't receiving.
When one is hurting while grieving, the first prayer I pray is "God heal this person" and believing for them to be healed. Whether they get emotional healing or not, I just keep standing in faith for them. But I noticed that some still linger on, and get trapped in their emotional pains. All I know is that they are healed, but they simply did not receive the healing, due to underlying traumatic experiences that come with grief.
I don't cut off the flow of God's power by withdrawing my faith. I stand fast, keep believing that healing always comes and somewhere down the line that person will receive his or her healing as soon as we eventually agree in the prayers being prayed.
Be open to still have faith in God and His Words, our situations will not make God a liar. He always comes through in His promises. Let us believe we receive, and the healing kicks in.
Mark 16:17-18
And these signs shall follow them that believe...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
