The woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25 had tried every medical prescription. She had gone to the best hospitals in town. The best gynecologist had concluded her case as terminal and incurable. She had also exhausted all her living on hospital bills. If she had left the responsibility of her life to these people that would have been the conclusion of her life. On a certain day she heard that Jesus was passing on his way to another engagement. She wasn’t on Jesus’s schedule but she took responsibility for her healing. If she had consulted the people around Jesus they would have prevented her from coming close to Jesus.
Prayer gives us the privilege to take responsibility for our lives.
Prayer gives you all the room and the access to approach God without having to book an appointment or fill a form.
The blood of Jesus gives every one of us equal access to approach the throne of grace with boldness.
You don’t need the permission or the endorsement of anyone to access the grace of God that is lavishly available for your take.
There is no scarcity of grace; you can access as much as you desire.
Prayer is a divine privilege we have, that will not allow a mortal man to draw a conclusion on our lives.
It’s time to dig your feet in the ground and take what belongs to you. You have every right in God to seek his face and obtain all that is made available.
Consciously deal with the urge to blame anyone for anything. Jabez, in 1 Chronicles 4:10 took responsibility for his life to experience a change.
Phil 4:16
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy...”
