Paul prays for the believers in Rome. Not only does Paul pray for them, but he prays for them constantly, without ceasing. And not only does he pray for them constantly, but he tells them that he prays for them constantly. Paul must have known that these believers, whom he had never met, would be encouraged from the depths of their hearts, to know that the Apostle Paul was regularly praying for them.
The traumatic experience, the emotional stress and excruciating pains I experienced at the passing of my husband was so deep and unexplainable. I believed that only the people that have been through would be able to explain it.
Up till this morning, the experience comes back to me anytime I hear of someone losing a loved one. I think of the depth of the unexplainable pains the person is going through, that grows the compassion in me to pray for the person. I know it is NOT a good place to be.
It is the main purpose for this platform, and I take it upon myself to pray for every one of us.
You can do the same too. Anytime you remember, take a few minutes to lift us up on this platform, and you will be surprised how far that can go in helping the group to heal.
Paul says “I’m praying for you daily.”
Just as I pray for us (even though I don't have the opportunity to tell us) please lift us up in prayers on this platform any day we come to mind, and we will be encouraged from the depths of their hearts.
Romans 1:9-10a
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you always in my prayers.
