Regret is a strong emotion you will most likely encounter during grief. A lot of people get stuck here for too long that they don't move on easily. It happened to me. Please, don't fall for it.
Perhaps you have regrets over things you wish you had said or done while your loved one was still alive. A frequent thought might be, If only I had ...
You are not alone, most of us went through, and are still going through that wave.
A friend told me how she kept thinking that the choice of the hospital her father was taken to would have made a difference in him being alive. She confessed that she kept punishing herself with the thoughts. But she did all you knew to do as a human being.
Do not condemn yourself. Look to Christ Jesus for help in facing these regrets.
Romans 8:1-2 NASB
"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death".
