At the onset of a grief experience, it could be pretty difficult to trust the Word as Christians. One will start to doubt the efficacy of The Word that we have been confessing and believing as Christians.
The truth is that The Word of God cannot be broken. This truth made me wear detective clothes, and started a feasibility study of my family and that of the family I married into; looking for a trend that I could link to my situation. I looked into our physical lifestyle, and that was the reason I went fully into natural wellness.
With all my checks and human knowledge, I have come to rest on the truth that so many things will not come to the open until we see the Lord.
Meanwhile, let us keep holding on to The Word.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Psalm 12:6
The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over.
Psalm 119:89 AMPC
Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven (stands firm as the heavens).
Psalm 107:20 AMPC
He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction.
Psalm 138:2 AMPC
I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!
