From my personal experience, the grieving period is the lowest season of prayers. The pain and the disappointment do not give room to pray even if you desire to. We tend to concentrate on the shame, regrets of what we should have done or we failed to do and what people are saying, and even trying to fix it. Distractions set in.
Jesus prayed much more in the days of His adversity. He ignored His sleeping disciples and went into hiding to pray. He was pained, but He asked God for help that kept Him going. He eventually overcame His battles, celebrated and got the crown of glory. He was then given the name above all names.
Halleluyah!!
We all need help, ask God to send you helpers, and He will. It could be for prayers, or any kind of support. But don't give up praying. Losing the zeal for prayers is dangerous when we grief. Find those 'happy' moments to keep the fire burning. So that we don't lose the crown.
Help will definitely come, and His grace will cross to the other side, you will find joy again in Jesus name.
Luke 22:42-44 (AMPC)
Saying, Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done. And there appeared to Him an angel from heaven, strengthening Him in spirit. And being in an agony [of mind], He prayed [all the] more earnestly and intently, and His sweat became like great clots of blood dropping down upon the ground.
